This is how I've been preparing tomatoes for winter for the past ten years: I open a jar and they taste like fresh tomatoes!

Fruits and vegetables:
After selecting the tomatoes, it's important to wash them and remove the stems. Then, cut them into pieces according to your preference. Finally, prepare a jar with a lid to store the tomatoes.
Step 3: Prepare the vinaigrette.

To prepare the vinaigrette, combine the salt, sugar, and vinegar in a saucepan. If desired, you can add other seasonings to taste, such as pepper, bay leaf, or garlic. Let the mixture simmer for at least 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 4: Storing the tomatoes

Once the tomatoes and sauce are prepared, you can begin the canning process. Gradually place the tomato pieces into the jar and pour the hot sauce over them. Make sure the jar is full and add a bay leaf for extra flavor. Seal the jar tightly and place it in a pot of boiling water to sterilize it for about 15 minutes.
